 Course Description
 
This course aims to give students an understanding of the fundamental concepts of the Tibetan Buddhist canon as well as the key features of Tibetan Buddhist tradition. This understanding will allow them to connect to modern scholarship in this area. This is an introductory course, which aims at providing a clear conceptual framework for students’ future writings and thesis and will focus on the following key points: 1. The importance and multiplicity of the Tibetan Buddhist canon; 2. The fundamental conceptions of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
