 Course Description
 
This course consists of two parts: 1) Introduction to the canonical sources of Indian Buddhism, 2) Introduction to philological method of studies of these sources. In these course, Sanskrit, Pāli, and Chinese translated canonical materials in various forms such as manuscripts, editions and websites are introduced. Example of philological approach to different recensions of a text will be also given.
