Course Description

1. The teaching content of this course is in training students in the use of humanities research methods, doing deep thinking from the perspectives of literature, history, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, psychology, etc., to discuss the basic topics and future development of modern Buddhist studies research.
2. To guide students from the point of view of the concerns of modern humanities, and from the angle of issues faced by the modern world, in discussing research topics in Buddhism and Buddhist studies, as well as explaining and interpreting the modern implications of classical Buddhist texts and other related literature.
