Course Description |

本課程的設計有兩個重要方向，一是讓學生能從重要的英文劇作中理解戲劇此一文類與表演藝術，並增進英文能力。選修本課程之後，學生應能改善英文發音、習得初步的戲劇表演技巧、瞭解經典劇本的意涵、以及培養在公開場所使用英文表達的自信。二是讓學生熟悉未來小公演與畢業公演所要上演的劇本。上課方式著重劇本分析以及實際表演。學生必須對劇本的內容、角色的心態、時代的背景等方面有充分的瞭解，並能背誦部分台詞進行表演。
This course aims to prepare students for a basic understanding of drama and scripts that will be staged in graduation productions. Students are expected to better their English pronunciation, understandings of literary canons, and confidence in speaking in English before the public. Also, this course introduces students to plays that will be performed in the graduation production. Hence, except for understanding themes and background related to the script, students are required to recite the lines and perform selected scenes.

學生請假規則
|
1. 學生請假悉依本校「學則」及「學生請假辦法」規定辦理。
2. 依本校「學則」第33條，曠課一小時，以缺課二小時論。學生某一科目之缺課總時數達該科全學期授課時數三分之一，經該科教師扣考後，即不准參加該科目之學期各項學習成績考試或評量。
