Course Description
 
1. The teaching objective of this course is to guide students to firstly understand the central concepts of Buddhism, and delve into the historical background and origin of the Madhyamika philosophy in India.
2. This course focuses on the doctrinal contents of the Madhyamika philosophy in India, and the division and controversy within its own system.
3. This course also discusses the later on Chinese development of the Madhyamika philosophy as it was introduced into China by Kamarajiva and its far-reaching influence in almost all Chinese Buddhist Schools
