Course Description
 
This course aims to teach graduate students common terms in computer-assisted language learning (CALL), technology standards for teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL), in search of and evaluation of CALL resources, instruction in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing through technology, computer-mediated communication (CMC), flipped classroom, and digital game-based Language learning. Through learning relevant theories and practical knowledge and skills, students will be able to assess a teaching environment and prepare for CALL and choose appropriate technologies and electronic materials and then integrate them into teaching English listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Moreover, students will be able to select suitable CMC technologies and adopt them to achieve teaching objectives. Furthermore, students will be able to evaluate digital games and properly use some of them for their English teaching. Additionally, students will be able to transform traditional classroom to flipped classroom for their English learners.
本課程旨在教授研究生電腦輔助語言學習 (CALL) 中的常用學術用語、使用TESOL國際組織制出來的科技標準來教授英語學習者、搜尋和評估 CALL 資源、運用科技產品與電子資料來教授英語聽、說、讀、寫、以電腦中介傳播 (CMC)教授英文、翻轉教育和以數位遊戲來教授語言。透過學習CALL相關的理論、實務的知識與技能,學生將能夠評估教學環境,為CALL做準備、選擇合適的科技產品與電子資料,並將它們融入於英語聽說讀寫教學中。此外,學生將能夠選擇合適的 CMC 科技產品,並運用它們來達成教學目標。另外,學生將能夠評估數位遊戲的優缺點、選擇合適的數位遊戲,並融入於英語教學中。此外,學生將能夠將傳統的課堂轉變為翻轉教室。

學生請假規則

 
 
 

1. 學生請假悉依本校「學則」及「學生請假辦法」規定辦理。
2. 依本校「學則」第33條,曠課一小時,以缺課二小時論。學生某一科目之缺課總時數達該科全學期授課時數三分之一,經該科教師扣考後,即不准參加該科目之學期各項學習成績考試或評量。
