 Course Description
 
本課程是引導同學認識第二次世界大戰以後世界著名的戲劇作品以及劇作家（以英美為主），分析作品的類別、流派以及和當代重要議題之間的關係，特別是性別、階級、種族等議題。同時，本課程也會分析表演與劇場、劇本之間的關連與異同。整體而言，本課程希望能提升同學的人文素養。
This course introduces noted plays and playwrights, especially from the Anglo-American world after the second world war. Important artistic trends and salient issues, such as gender, class, race, and postmodernism will be explored. Also, this course will relate the theatre performance to the scripts, so as to shed light on the close relationship between the theatrical practices and the modern world. As a whole, this course anticipates to increase students’ humanistic quality.
