Course Description
 
因為有愛,才有悲傷,也因為有愛,才能療癒悲傷。死亡是同時觸動遺族與死者,當面對人生最大的總體失落,末期病人常遭受身心靈之痛苦,其家屬也同時承受身心之煎迫。就臨終關懷能泛指一切對臨終者的關懷照顧活動,亦能屬於醫療照護活動的一門專業。如何透過臨終關懷以病人為中心之倫理思維的安寧伴行,使病患能善終,並由悲傷輔導協助喪慟者走出生命之幽谷,達到生死兩相安與生死兩無憾。
Because of love, there is sorrow, and because of love, sorrow can be healed. Death simultaneously affects both the bereaved and the deceased. When facing the greatest overall loss in life, terminally ill patients often endure physical, mental, and spiritual suffering, and their families also bear physical and mental anguish. Palliative care can broadly refer to all activities that provide care and concern for the terminally ill, and it can also be a specialized branch of medical care. How to provide palliative care that centers on the patient with an ethical perspective, allowing patients to die well, and assisting the bereaved through grief counseling to emerge from the valley of sorrow, achieving peace in both life and death without regret, remains a significant question.
