本課程透過學員的記憶為宜蘭歷史之重塑，經過此階段使學生對宜蘭整體發展有初步概念，並能了解各城鎮之間的環境、產業等差異。其次瞭解宜蘭在台灣歷史中的定位與角色，透過台灣整體的發展敘述，學員才能夠精準定位宜蘭的歷史亮點。並通過對宜蘭城市的走讀、現地踏查，不同鄉鎮之間的特色才能顯現出來。地方社會同樣在持續變動之中，歷史文本也在持續變動並各自解讀，藉由書寫村史來釐清文本與實際狀況，重新定位宜蘭。
(英文版課程描述)
This course reshapes the history of Yilan through students' memories. After this stage, students will have a preliminary concept of Yilan's overall development and understand the differences between various towns in terms of environment, industry, etc. Secondly, understand Yilan's status and role in Taiwan's history. Through the narrative of Taiwan's overall development, students can accurately locate Yilan's historical highlights. And through hiking and field trips in Yilan City, the characteristics of different towns are displayed. With the continuous changes in local society, historical texts are constantly evolving and interpreting. By writing village history, clarifying the text and actual situation, and repositioning Yilan.
