蘭陽平原為台灣東北角重要地帶,多雨潮濕,自吳沙率眾開墾以來,即因阻隔的地理環境與氣候而形成特殊的人文地景風貌,如今蘭陽平原已是台灣重要的觀光地帶。同時,地方創生方興未艾,而其中關乎成敗的就是地方特色能否展現並持續吸引遊客進如,帶動地方經濟循環,因此地方人士能否挖掘特殊的在地特色,將之融入地方旅行就成為關鍵。本課程的目的在於從歷史與社會文化角度來切入蘭陽平原的歷史發展,透過了解人文社會的特殊性,使學生能夠透過走讀地方社會來發掘蘭陽平原的魅力,並做為未來地方創生的先備知識。

Lanyang Plain is an important area in the northeast corner of Taiwan. It is rainy and humid. Since Wu Sha led the people to cultivate it, it has formed a unique human landscape due to the isolated geographical environment and climate. Now Lanyang Plain has become an important tourist area in Taiwan. At the same time, local creation is in the ascendant, and the key to success is whether the local characteristics can be displayed and continue to attract tourists to drive the local economic cycle. Therefore, whether local people can explore the special local characteristics and integrate them into local travel becomes the key. The purpose of this course is to cut into the historical development of Lanyang Plain from the perspective of history and social culture. By understanding the particularity of human society, students can discover the charm of Lanyang Plain by visiting local society and use it as a prerequisite for future
