Course Description
 
本課程擬從浩繁的中國佛教撰述典籍中選錄若干具代表性的名著，除考量有學派思想代表性者外，更希望兼及中國佛教傳播過程中所發展出的多元文化面相，不論是中國祖師大德的思想著作、傳記行誼，乃至藝文創作皆能側列其間，繼而從中管窺佛教在中國的傳播之路究竟是通過如何的「碰撞」、「調整適應」與「融合」的過程，進而逐漸形成具中國文化形態的宗教特點。
This course intends to select several representative works from the vast body of Chinese Buddhist literature. In addition to considering texts that exemplify the doctrinal characteristics of specific schools of thought, it also aims to encompass the diverse cultural dimensions that emerged during the dissemination of Buddhism in China. These include the philosophical writings and biographies of eminent Chinese masters, as well as artistic and literary creations. Through this selection, the course seeks to explore how Buddhism’s journey in China was marked by processes of "collision," "adaptation," and "integration," ultimately shaping its distinctive features within the framework of Chinese culture.
