Course Description
 
本課程主要目的在探討漢傳佛教在臺灣的弘傳過程，培養學生對臺灣佛教的理解與興趣。課程內容探討歷經明鄭時期、日本殖民時期、戰後解嚴前後，以及當代佛教四大法派。每一個時期所展現出台灣佛教不同的面貌。

The main purpose of this course is to explore the spread of Chinese Buddhism in Taiwan and to cultivate students' understanding and interest in Taiwanese Buddhism. The course content explores the four major schools of Buddhism through the Ming and Zheng dynasties, the Japanese colonial period, the post-war and post-war lifting of martial law, and contemporary Buddhism. Each period shows a different face of Taiwanese Buddhism.

1基本史學訓練，對臺灣佛教之發展有概略性地常識。 Basic historical training and a general knowledge of the development of Buddhism in Taiwan.
2於宗教學基礎訓練中，加入基本史學訓練，同時對臺灣佛教之發展有概略性地常識。 In the basic training of religious studies, basic historical training is added, and at the same time, a general knowledge of the development of Buddhism in Taiwan is acquired.
3熟悉臺灣佛教史料與文獻。 Be familiar with Taiwan Buddhist historical materials and documents.
4結合口述歷史重建臺灣佛教史。 Reconstructing the history of Taiwanese Buddhism based on oral history.
