Course Description
 
佛教藝術與佛教的發展息息相關，本課程透過系統性講述佛教圖像的發展脈絡，並閱讀主要相關經典內容，藉由比較經典文獻與現存圖像作品，探討經典對佛教圖像的影響，從而為個人日後從事佛教藝術研究或展演奠定基礎。
Buddhist art is closely intertwined with the development of Buddhism. This course provides a systematic overview of the evolution of Buddhist imagery and includes readings of major related scriptures. By comparing canonical texts with existing visual works, the course explores how Buddhist scriptures have influenced artistic representations, thereby laying a foundation for future research or curatorial practice in Buddhist art and cultural presentation.
