Course Description
 
本課程主要探討漢傳佛教的思想體系以及其對中國文化的影響，內容將含蓋漢傳佛教如何消化吸收從印度傳來原本屬於異文化的佛教，漢傳佛教與西藏佛教、南傳佛教思想與文化的異同，漢傳佛教思想與文化有什麼樣的獨特性，以及漢傳佛教現代化與人間佛教的課題。
This course primarily explores the ideological system of Chinese Buddhism and its influence on Chinese culture. The content will cover how Chinese Buddhism digests and assimilates the originally foreign Buddhist teachings that came from India, the similarities and differences between Chinese Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism as well as Theravada Buddhism, the unique characteristics of Chinese Buddhist thought and culture, and the issues of modernization and humanistic Buddhism in Chinese Buddhism.
