 Course Description
 
本課程旨在透過帶領學生了解當前新興的文化與科技議題以培育學生對目前相關產業發展的趨向之掌握。本課程透過閱讀或觀看當前重要之文化、科技以及相關產業之選文或紀錄片，藉由議題與選文之了解目前如全球影視產業、音樂、出版、電玩、AI、社群媒體、VR、擴增實境、無人車、區塊鏈、ICO、遊戲、動漫、時尚產業、藝術產業等議題並深入討論，讓同學具備文化、科技與產業之知識、全球觀點與在地思考之能力、提升學生進入國際市場與產業之了解。
This course aims to lead students to understand contemporary trendy issues in culture and technology to foster their understanding current development of relative industries. Important reading material or documentaries concerning current culture, technology and industries will be selected for students to allow them to get a comprehensive understanding of issues like global movie industry, music, publishing, videogames, AI, social media, VR, AR, autopilot vehicle, blockchain, ICO, games, animation, fashion industry, art industry. Students are expected to participate in in-class discussion to build their reservoir for culture, technology and industry, hone their ability of global perspective and local mindsets, foster their understanding of international market and industry.

1. 學生請假悉依本校「學則」及「學生請假辦法」規定辦理。
2. 依本校「學則」第33條，曠課一小時，以缺課二小時論。學生某一科目之缺課總時數達該科全學期授課時數三分之一，經該科教師扣考後，即不准參加該科目之學期各項學習成績考試或評量。
