Course Description

非虛構寫作(creative non-fiction)或紀實文學，重視以文學敘事手法傳達事實。在實地田野調查中，透過個人獨特的視角細緻觀察、詮釋事件，兼顧了文學的感受性與寫實報導之標準。本課程將以「非虛構寫作」的閱讀與創作為主，首先介紹優質作品、帶領同學透過閱讀建立「非虛構寫作」的正確觀念，理解其與新聞寫作及虛構寫作不同之處。進一步分析選讀作品寫作之策略及手法，並以指定題材之單元寫作回饋，確認同學掌握材料、進行演繹的能力。最後以實際的田野訪查、資料蒐集，完成學期的寫作訓練。
Nonfiction or documentary literature emphasizes conveying facts through literary narrative techniques. It involves meticulous observation and interpretation of events from a unique personal perspective during fieldwork, balancing literary sensitivity with the standards of factual reporting. This course will focus on reading and creating nonfiction works. It will begin by introducing high-quality works to guide students in establishing a correct understanding of nonfiction writing and its differences from news writing and fiction writing. The course will further analyze the writing strategies and techniques of the selected works, and provide feedback through unit writing exercises on designated topics to confirm students' ability to grasp materials and develop their interpretations. Finally, the course will conclude with practical fieldwork and data collection to complete the semester's writing training.
