【課程內容】：以「多元文化主義」提醒社會工作人員，在臺灣當前多元族群的社會中，如何重視弱勢者的人權和社會正義，進而促進主流社會理解族群差異，肯認族群文化。培養進步的人權意識，提升多元文化的敏感度。先從多元文化理論的學術脈絡，爬梳批判理論和自由主義相關的論述，討論「差異政治」和「肯認政治」等概念，提出「批判觀點」的多元文化主義。

本次課程內容主要是透過【姊妹賣冬瓜】這部紀錄片，深入瞭解新移民在台灣社會如何透過社會運動與倡權過程，打破不合理的制度規範與改變歧視性社會氛圍。這部影片中，看到回歸以新移民為主體的實踐歷程，提供社會工作者反思團體工作的意義與價值。討論主軸聚焦於新移民與移工發展趨勢，深入探討與權利行使之關連，對於當前我國移民政策進行反思與批判。透過新移民的社會發展脈絡，反思社會工作者的位置與角色。
Course Content: Through the documentary Sisters Selling Winter Melon, this session provides a deep understanding of how new immigrants in Taiwan break unreasonable regulations and change discriminatory social atmospheres through social movements and advocacy. The film highlights a practice process centered on new immigrants, offering social workers reflections on the meaning and value of group work. Discussions focus on trends regarding new immigrants and migrant workers, the exercise of rights, and a critique of current immigration policies.
