Course Description
 
文學理論的原則與方法已經被應用在文化研究的相關領域中，對所有的文本來進行詮釋，文學理論為一種用於詮釋的普遍理論。本課程目的在引導英外文研究所同學研讀熟悉結構主義、女性主義、馬克斯主義、解構主義、後結構主義、後殖民主義等西洋現代文學理論，讓學生接觸瞭解不同的西方文化思考模式與詮釋策略，以促進學生批判思考和文學批評能力。
The concepts and principles of literary theories have been applied to the fields of literary studies and cultural studies. This course aims to introduce Western literary theories, including structuralism, feminism, Marxism, deconstruction, post-structuration, post-colonialism, as the interpretative tools to students.
