This course aims to teach graduate students how to analyze a language teaching environment and learners’ language learning needs. In addition, they will learn the principles of designing a language curriculum, setting teaching goals, planning teaching content, and choosing appropriate methods to present teaching content. Moreover, this course will teach students different ways to assess learners’ language learning outcomes. Furthermore, they will learn how to evaluate commercial English coursebooks and be able to select suitable teaching materials for their target English learners. Finally, they will learn to plan an English class and write a lesson plan. Through the course, students will also have hands-on experience to apply learned knowledge to analyze an English teaching environment and a group of English learners, design an English curriculum for the learners, select proper teaching materials for the learners, choose appropriate assessments to evaluate learners’ learning outcomes, and design a lesson plan for an English class. 此課程旨在教授研究生如何分析語言教學環境和學習者的語言學習需求。此外,學生將學習設計語言課程、設定教學目標、規劃教學內容以及選擇合適的教學方法呈現教學內容的原則。同時,學生將學習不同的評量方法來測量學習者的語言學習成果。並且學習分析市場上販售之英語教材,以及選擇合適學習者的英文教材。最後,學生將學習如何規劃一堂英語課程和撰寫教案。透過課程作業與報告,學生將應用所學之知識來分析英語教學環境和學習者之英語學習需求、為學習者設計英語課程、選擇合適的英語教材與評量方式來測量學習者的英文學習成果,並且撰寫英語課教案。

1. 學生請假悉依本校「學則」及「學生請假辦法」規定辦理。 2. 依本校「學則」第33條,曠課一小時,以缺課二小時論。學生某一科目之缺課總時數達該科全學期授課時數三分之一,經該科教師扣考後,即不准參加該科目之學期各項學習成績考試或評量。
