Course Description

本課程將探索當代西方文學和文化的多樣性及其複雜性。通過閱讀和分析各種當代文學作品、電影、和其他文化形式，學生將深入了解西方社會的變遷、身份認同、性別、種族、全球化等議題。我們將討論重要的文學流派和文化理論，並探討這些作品如何反映和挑戰當代社會的價值觀和矛盾。學生將參與討論、寫作和報告，以培養批判性思維和文化敏感性。

This course will explore the diversity and complexity of contemporary Western literature and culture. Through reading and analyzing various contemporary literary works, films, or other cultural forms, students will gain a deep understanding of the changes in Western society, identity, gender, race, globalization, and other key issues. We will discuss significant literary movements and cultural theories and examine how these works reflect and challenge contemporary societal values and conflicts. Students will engage in discussions, writing, and presentations to develop critical thinking and cultural sensitivity.

1. 學生請假悉依本校「學則」及「學生請假辦法」規定辦理。
