Course Description

本課程主要聚焦於統計學的探討，舉凡資料的描述、機率觀念概述、離散型的機率分配、及連續型的機率分配等皆是本課程的上課範圍。希望藉由本課程，來幫助學生能從不同的層面檢視統計的相關知識，讓同學們能從更生動、有趣的角度來學習與接觸統計學這門學科，進而提供學生未來進行學術研究與日常生活應用的基礎。This course focuses on the exploration of statistics, covering topics such as data description, an overview of probability concepts, discrete probability distributions, and continuous probability distributions. The aim of this course is to help students examine statistical knowledge from different perspectives, allowing them to learn and engage with statistics in a more vivid and interesting way, thereby providing them with a foundation for future academic research and everyday applications.

Course Objectives

3	期許學生能發展出統計學的思維邏輯及靈活應用其分析方式，解釋現實世界裡的各種問題與現象。The goal is for students to develop statistical thinking and logic and to flexibly apply its analytical methods to explain various problems and phenomena in the real world.

學生請假規則

1. 學生請假悉依本校「學則」及「學生請假辦法」規定辦理。
2. 依本校「學則」第33條，曠課一小時，以缺課二小時論。學生某一科目之缺課總時數達該科全學期授課時數三分之一，經該科教師扣考後，即不准參加該科目之學期各項學習成績考試或評量。
