Course Description

面對實際世界複雜之政經、社會情勢，經濟學試圖以科學的方式加以闡釋。亦如其他學科，經濟學也擁有本身的分析工具。景氣波動 (business cycle) 是總體經濟學的主要課題，經濟學家利用模型 (models) 解釋世界，將複雜的世界簡化為理論模型。經濟學中沒有單一模型能夠回答所有問題，而是不同模型能夠解釋經濟的不同層面。如能掌握各理論之發展背景，當能體認理論之建構邏輯。因此，本課程將呈現許多不同的總體經濟模型，以培養修課同學判斷經濟現象之依據，並靈活將經濟理論運用在周遭社會。
The face of the complexity of the real world political, economic and social situation, economics attempts to elaborate a scientific manner. Same applies in other disciplines, economics also has its own analytical tools. Business cycle is the main subject of macroeconomics, economists use models to explain the world, simplifying the complex world of theoretical models. Economics is no single model can answer all the questions, but different models can explain the different levels of the economy. If they can grasp the development background of each theory, be able to recognize when to construct a logical theory. Therefore, this course will present a number of different macro-economic models to students to know the economy.
