Course Description
 
貧窮是人類社會一直普遍存在的問題，無論是相對或絕對，都會是執政者必須面對並解決重要問題將。政府部門透過公共救助，民間部門則經常是自主性的提供各種協助。本課程目標希望協助學習者認識貧窮與歷史發展、瞭解社會救助法精神內涵、揣摩臨床社工社會救助調查方式、學習社會救助行政的裁量權、認識濟貧安貧與脫貧，並探討女性貧窮化、原鄉部落貧窮議題、遊民與街友議題。
Poverty has been a persistent issue throughout human society, whether in relative or absolute terms, and remains a crucial challenge that governments must address. While the public sector provides assistance through social welfare programs, the private sector often offers various forms of support on a voluntary basis. This course aims to help learners understand the historical development of poverty, grasp the core principles of social assistance laws, explore the investigative approaches used by clinical social workers, learn about the discretionary power in social welfare administration, and gain insight into poverty alleviation strategies. The course will also examine topics such as the feminization of poverty, poverty in Indigenous communities, and issues related to homelessness and street dwellers.
