Course Description
 
　　家庭暴力事件在我們的周遭已存在很長一段時間，只是社會變遷導致家庭型態複雜化及家庭功能的式微，加之近年來經濟嚴重不景氣造成家庭內部壓力劇升，使得家庭暴力現象似乎有增加的趨勢。大眾媒體爭相報導使家暴問題浮上檯面。家庭暴力防治法於民國87年6月通過，使家庭暴力防治工作有了法源依據。
本課程為研究所的選修課程，其主要目的在幫助學生瞭解對家庭暴力之現況、歷史源起、相關理論、社會工作處遇方法、以及相關協助系統，透過實例進行分析、討論，使學生對家庭暴力問題有所認識，並增進其處遇準備。
Domestic violence has existed in our society for a long time. However, due to social changes,increasingly complex family structures, the decline of traditional family functions, and the recent severe economic downturn, internal family stress has intensified, seemingly leading to a rise in domestic violence incidents. As mass media competes to report on such cases, the issue of domestic violence has gained significant public attention. The enactment of the Domestic Violence Prevention Act in June 1998 (Year 87 in the ROC calendar) provided a legal foundation for addressing and preventing domestic violence.

This graduate-level elective course aims to help students gain a comprehensive understanding of domestic violence, including its current status, historical development, theoretical frameworks, social work intervention strategies, and relevant support systems. Through case analyses and class discussions, students will deepen their awareness of domestic violence issues and enhance their preparedness for professional intervention.
