Course Description

本課程旨在教授社會科學研究的基本原理與方法，並培養學生在學術與實務領域中應用這些方法的能力。學生將學習如何設計研究、進行資料蒐集與分析，以及如何在不同的社會科學領域中運用這些技能。課程內容包括理論探討與實務訓練，幫助學生理解如何運用研究方法來解決實際問題。本課程特別強調批判性思維與問題解決能力的培養。

This course aims to teach the basic principles and methods of social science research and develop students' ability to apply these methods in academic and practical fields. Students will learn how to design research, conduct data collection and analysis, and how to apply these skills in different social science fields. The course content includes theoretical discussion and practical training to help students understand how to use research methods to solve practical problems. This course places special emphasis on the cultivation of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Course Objectives

1	掌握社會科學研究方法的基本理論與概念：學生將學習社會科學研究中常用的理論與方法，並理解其背後的哲學與邏輯基礎。Understanding the Basic Theories and Concepts of Social Science Research Methods: Students will learn common theories and methods used in social science research and understand their underlying philosophical and logical foundations.
2	學會研究設計與實施研究計劃：學生將具備研究設計的能力，包括確定研究問題、選擇適當的方法及選擇資料蒐集的策略。Learning Research Design and Implementation of Research Projects: Students will develop the ability to design research, including defining research questions, selecting appropriate methods, and choosing data collection strategies.
3	提升資料分析與詮釋的能力：學生將學習使用量化與質性資料分析技術，並能夠批判性地解釋分析結果。Enhancing Data Analysis and Interpretation Skills: Students will learn to apply quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques and critically interpret the results.
4	發展問題解決與決策能力：課程將促進學生運用研究結果來解決實務問題，並訓練如何根據資料進行有效的決策。Developing Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Skills: The course will enable students to apply research findings to practical problems and train them to make effective decisions based on data.
5	培養學術與實務應用的寫作與溝通能力：學生將學習撰寫研究報告並具備有效溝通研究結果的能力，無論是針對學術社群或實務領域。Developing Academic and Practical Writing and Communication Skills: Students will learn to write research reports and effectively communicate research findings, whether for academic audiences or practical applications.
