Course Description
 
本課程旨在探討中國自1949年建政以來政治與經濟發展的歷程、重要政策及其對中國與國際社會的影響。課程內容涵蓋中國共產黨政權建立、計畫經濟體制、大躍進、文化大革命、改革開放、市場經濟轉型、國有企業改革、地方政府財政、房地產發展、科技創新及對外經貿關係等重要議題，協助學生理解中國政治與經濟發展的脈絡與特徵。
課程透過歷史回顧、理論分析、案例討論及時事議題探究，引導學生從政治制度、經濟政策及社會變遷等面向分析中國發展模式及其所面臨的挑戰。並進一步探討中國崛起對全球政治經濟秩序、區域發展及國際關係所帶來的影響。
透過本課程之學習，學生將能掌握中國政治與經濟發展的重要理論與實務知識，培養分析中國發展議題之能力，並增進對當代中國及其全球影響力之理解。

This course examines the political and economic development of China since the establishment of the People's Republic of China in 1949. It explores major political events, economic reforms, and policy changes that have shaped contemporary China and influenced the international community. Topics include the socialist planned economy, the Great Leap Forward, the Cultural Revolution, economic reforms and opening-up policies, state-owned enterprise reform, local government finance, real estate development, technological innovation, and China's external economic relations.
Through historical review, theoretical analysis, case studies, and discussions of current issues, students will analyze China's development model from political, economic, and social perspectives. The course also examines China's rise and its impact on regional development, global political economy, and international relations.
Upon completion of the course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of China's political and economic development, strengthen their analytical skills regarding contemporary China, and develop a broader perspective on China's growing influence in the world.
