Course Description
 
期使學生從設計元素與作品風格發展過程中,瞭解設計的意義與內涵,並著重產品設計之專業領域的發展過程與相關社會環境和人文發展之意義.培養學生觀察造形與材質特徵之專業素養。

The goal is for students to understand the meaning and connotation of design through the development process of design elements and work styles, with a focus on the development process of product design within its professional field, as well as the significance of related social environments and cultural development. The course aims to cultivate students' professional literacy in observing the characteristics of form and material.

Course Objectives

1透過觀察與設計操作，建立設計的認知並了解設計意義，同時引導學生將設計與相關社會環境連結，並觀察設計發展軌跡與時下風潮對造形材質造成的影響。 Through observation and design practice, students will establish an understanding of design and its meaning. The course will also guide students to connect design with the relevant social environment, while observing the impact of design trends and contemporary influences on form and material.

 1. 學生請假悉依本校「學則」及「學生請假辦法」規定辦理。
2. 依本校「學則」第33條，曠課一小時，以缺課二小時論。學生某一科目之缺課總時數達該科全學期授課時數三分之一，經該科教師扣考後，即不准參加該科目之學期各項學習成績考試或評量。
