Course Description

本課程針對宗教文化與藝術，向學生介紹不同世界文明的宗教音樂、宗教建築、宗教儀式、宗教雕像與繪畫等藝術，並且說明宗教藝術與宗教文化如何相互影響。本課程涵蓋傳統世界宗教基督宗教、佛教、道教、印度教、伊斯蘭教，並且從宗教學理論的角度切入討論點，課程也規劃一次校外參訪（管風琴現場演奏聆聽）以及專題演講，開拓學生視野，培養學生了解自己文化傳統，尊重並欣賞其他文化與宗教的精神，反省自身在全球文明對話新時代中的定位。課程主要是對宗教聖地、藝術品和宗教建築等觀察,以了解并解釋宗教的深厚背景及所蘊含的豐富涵義
This course focuses on religious culture and art. It introduces students to religious music, religious architecture, religious rituals, religious statues, paintings and other arts of different world civilizations, and explains how religious art and religious culture influence each other. This course covers traditional world religions such as Christianity, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, and Islam, and discusses the discussion points from the perspective of religious theory. The course also plans an off-campus visit (listening to live organ performance) and special lectures to broaden students' horizons. Cultivate students to understand their own cultural traditions, respect and appreciate the spirit of other cultures and religions, and reflect on their own positioning in the new era of global civilizational dialogue. The course mainly focuses on observing religious holy sites, artworks and religious buildings to understand and explain the profound background of religion and its rich meanings.
