Course Description
 
「環境倫理」課程透過「技術實踐」與「倫理思辨」雙軌路徑,探討人類如何在能源需求與生態價值間尋求平衡。前半學期引入「永續生活實驗室」實作,以建置校園微水力發電系統為案例,引導學生理解綠色能源的科學原理、循環經濟效益與建置評估。後半學期則導入「孝親安康學習模式」,透過電影賞析與期刊論文細讀,探討人與家庭、動物及生態系的倫理關係。特別著重於思辨綠色能源開發對野生動物與棲地的衝擊,培育學生具備跨領域的系統思考能力與負責的環境公民素養。
This course explores the balance between human energy demands and ecological values through a dual approach of "Technical Practice" and "Ethical Reasoning." The first half introduces the "Sustainable Living Lab" concept, utilizing a campus micro-hydropower system as a case study to guide students in understanding the scientific principles, circular economy benefits, and implementation assessment of green energy. The second half employs the "Filial Wellness Learning Model." Through film and text analysis, we examine the ethical relationships between humans and their families, animals, and ecosystems. Special emphasis is placed on critically analyzing the conflicts between green energy development and wildlife habitats, cultivating students' interdisciplinary systems thinking and responsible environmental citizenship.

1第1週 課程全觀與永續發展脈絡:小老師、異質分組與評量制度建立

確立課程運作機制,介紹 SDGs 7 (潔淨能源) 與微水力發電在氣候行動 (SDG 13) 中的角色。
1: Overview of Course and Sustainable Development Context: Establishment of Peer Teacher, Heterogeneous Grouping, and Assessment Systems.
Content: Establish course operational mechanisms and introduce the role of SDGs 7 (Clean Energy) and micro-hydropower in climate action (SDG 13).
 
2第2週 綠能場域探索:微水力發電的水文環境評估

實地勘查校園水資源場域,進行水頭 (Head) 與流量 (Flow) 的科學測量,評估環境承載力。
2: Exploring Green Energy Sites: Hydrological Environmental Assessment for Micro-Hydropower.
Content: Conduct field surveys of campus water resources, perform scientific measurements of Head and Flow, and assess environmental carrying capacity.
 
3第3週 潔淨能源轉換原理:佩爾頓式渦輪機運作機制

解析位能轉換為電能的物理機制,比較水力、太陽能與風能的技術特性差異。
3: Principles of Clean Energy Conversion: Operational Mechanisms of Pelton Turbines.
Content: Analyze the physical mechanism of converting potential energy into electrical energy and compare technical characteristics of hydro, solar, and wind energy.
 
4第4週 循環經濟與物質流:微水力系統的生命週期觀點

運用生命週期評估 (LCA),分析發電系統從製造到回收的物質流向與環境足跡。
4: Circular Economy and Material Flow: Life Cycle Perspective of Micro-Hydropower Systems.
Content: Apply Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to analyze material flows and environmental footprints of the power generation system from manufacturing to recycling.
 
5第5週 淨零排放路徑:微水力發電之碳效益計算量化微水力發電的減碳潛力,探討其對校園碳中和目標的具體貢獻。5: Pathways to Net Zero: Calculation of Carbon Benefits in Micro-Hydropower.Content: Quantify the carbon reduction potential of micro-hydropower and explore its specific contribution to campus carbon neutrality goals. 
6第6週 綠能政策與社會接受度:可行性評估報告

分析再生能源政策法規,並討論社區對微水力設施的接受度與潛在影響。
6: Green Energy Policy and Social Acceptance: Feasibility Assessment Report.
Content: Analyze renewable energy policies and regulations, and discuss community acceptance and potential impacts of micro-hydropower facilities.
 
7第7週 系統韌性設計:微水力工程的風險與安全

規劃系統配置圖,進行技術故障、極端氣候與環境衝擊的風險矩陣評估。
7: Resilient System Design: Risk and Safety in Micro-Hydropower Engineering.
Content: Plan system configuration maps and conduct risk matrix assessments for technical failures, extreme weather, and environmental impacts.
 
8第8週 清潔生產實務:發電模組組裝與維護邏輯示範機組組裝與維護策略,強調延長產品壽命與減少廢棄的永續設計原則。8: Cleaner Production Practices: Assembly Logic and Maintenance of Power Generation Modules.Content: Demonstrate unit assembly and maintenance strategies, emphasizing sustainable design principles of extending product life and reducing waste.

10第10週 幸福和諧人生模式與道德思辨學習,以及 USR 社會實踐案例

解說孝悌健康、敬老懷幼、護生永續之核心理念,並介紹其在社會實踐中的應用。
10: Introduction to the Filial Wellness Learning Model and USR Social Practice Cases.
Content: Explain the core concepts of filial piety wellness, respect for the elderly and care for the young, and sustainable life protection, introducing their applications in social practice.

透過紀錄片探討自然食材採集與土地倫理的療癒力量。

12第12週 食農教育與代間學習:實作經驗解析與 ORID 反思

解析食農敬老與青銀共學案例,撰寫焦點討論法 (ORID) 心得,反思食物與人的關係。
12: Food and Agriculture Education and Intergenerational Learning: Analysis of Practice and ORID Reflection.
