Course Description

如何面對各種情緒與各種情感是人生中的必要功課。本課程打算結合心理學、文化人類學、社會學、政治學、文學評論、歷史學、腦神經科學、哲學等面向，以跨領域的方式帶領同學重新認識各種情緒，例如憤怒、恐懼、愛、喜歡、憎恨、無聊、憂鬱、焦慮、同情心、忌妒、崇高等，理解些情緒在個人與集體的層次是如何在不同的歷史、社會、政治、經濟與文化脈絡中產生、延續、被鑑定與評估、遭到控制、排擠或者被推崇。情緒與情感是我們的本能，但也是社會與文化的產物，認識這些，對生命的本質會有更深刻的理解。
How to face various emotions and emotions is a necessary lesson in life. This course intends to combine psychology, cultural anthropology, sociology, politics, literary criticism, history, neuroscience, philosophy and other aspects to lead students to re-understand various emotions, such as anger, fear, love, etc. , like, hatred, boredom, melancholy, anxiety, sympathy, jealousy, sublimity, etc., understand how these emotions are generated, continued, and identified at the individual and collective levels in different historical, social, political, economic, and cultural contexts and evaluated, controlled, excluded or promoted. Emotions and emotions are our instincts, but they are also products of society and culture. Understanding these will give us a deeper understanding of the nature of life.
