Course Description
 
本課程「佛教生命教育與AI倫理」是一門以佛教經典文獻作為探討生命教育「人生三問：人為何而活？人該怎樣生活？人如何活出應活的生命」之文本，進一步以當今AI技術快速變革所產生的根本性議題，探討「當機器演算力愈來愈像人，人還能做些什麼？」探究「AI技術在能做與應做之間存在那些倫理界線？」藉此引導學生進行自我覺察與價值判斷的探索、培養跨領域的批判思維，裨益學生在AI時代校準人類的定位，活成一個覺醒並具有同理心的生命姿態。

The course "Buddhist Life Education and AI Ethics" uses classical Buddhist literature as text to explore the "Three Fundamental Questions of Life Education: Why do we live? How should we live? How can we live the life we are meant to live?" Furthermore, in light of the profound issues arising from today's rapid transformations in AI technology, the course examines the question: "As machine computing power becomes increasingly human-like, what is left for humans to do?" It also investigates the ethical boundaries between what AI technology can do and what it should do. Through these inquiries, the course guides students to explore self-awareness and value judgment, while cultivating cross-disciplinary critical thinking. Ultimately, it helps students recalibrate the human role in the AI era, enabling them to live an awakened and empathetic life.
